Polyamide - PolyJARID

High stability in alkaline environments (hydroxides, ammonia)

Resists contact with water as well as acidic, alkaline and neutral salts. PolyJARID is also resistant to petroleum products, toluene and benzene. This material is not resistant to concentrated acids (both organic and inorganic).

Supplied semi-products

Tensile rods: ø30 to 90 mm, 1000 mm long (for the following types: aPA, aPA C1, aPA 03 aPA 06 aPAEC, HaPA)

Machined blocks: ø30 to 90 mm, 300 mm long ( for MaPA). Applies to all types.

Un-machined blocks: ø210 to 400 mm, 350 mm long, applies to all types.

Tubes: ø80/50 to 475/440, 1000 mm long

Plates: 880×320×50 to 130 mm

Prisms: from 10×10 mm, 1000 mm long

Machined blocks: ø100 to 200 mm

JARID aPA	Basic type, natural colour
JARID aPA 03 \| 06	Basic type with 3 % oil, improved slip properties, natural colour
JARID aPA 06	Basic type with 6 % oil, improved slip properties, natural colour
JARID aPA C1–C4	Basic type, C1 = black, C2 = red, C3 = yellow, C4 = blue
JARID aPA 03 \| 06 C1–C4	Basic type with 3 % oil, improved slip properties, C1 = black, C2 = red, C3 = yellow, C4 = blue
JARID MaPA	Modified aPA type with improved impact strength properties and internal structure
JARID ANTISTATIC	Alkaline Polyamide with antistatic properties
JARID HaPA	Tough aPA type for elasticity improvement, the material does not chip and does not break
JARID aPA MO	Alkaline Polyamide with MoS2 additives for improved slip properties and good tensile strength

Examples of use:

Semi-product terminology

CAST ROD – A product with a circular cross-section / cylindrical shape created by static casting in a mould at atmospheric pressure.
TENSILE ROD – A product with a circular cross-section of defined length created by polymerization in a mould under pressure.
TUBE – A hollow rod with defined outer and inner diameters and length.
PLATE – A product of a flat rectangular prism shape with defined thickness, width and length.
PRISM – A product of square or rectangular cross-section with defined dimensions.
SHAPE CAST – A product created by casting usually based on drawing documentation and intended for further processing.
MACHINED COMPONENT, SET – A final product for direct use, or including completion (e.g. with bearings, shafts, etc.).

Cast weight: max. 200 kg
Colouration: min. 100 kg (black, grey, red, yellow, blue, green)
Modification: min. 100 kg (oil, Desmodur, graphite, Molyka paste, rubber)
Plates: ≠ 8 – 100 mm in dimensions 1000×2000 mm
≠ 110 – 160 mm for dimensions 1000×1000 mm
. Tensile rods: diameter 30 – 100 mm for a length of 1000 mm
Cast rods: diameter 110 – 710 mm for a length of 1000 mm
Tubes: external diameter 60 – 510 mm for a length of 1000 mm
Annulus : external diameter 150 mm – 500 mm for lengths of 200 – 400 mm

Polyamide – machined components

Based on drawing documentation, we manufacture products in our own machine shop that is equipped with both conventional as well as CNC machines.
