Semi-products and parts made of engineering plastics Polyplasty

Polyethyleneterephthalate

polypet
It is an unreinforced, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polyester.
Its main advantages are its great mechanical strength, excellent dimensional stability (better than POM), abrasion resistance and very good shear properties. It also has good electrical properties; it is physiologically acceptable and flame retardant. It has very low water absorption, which does not affect its mechanical and electrical properties. Its very low thermal expansion coefficient puts it among the leading thermoplastics. This material is easily glued and welded.
